I never switched up on Marathon. It was a solid game until it was the only thing Bungie had to its name...

Just reacted to Destiny getting shot in the head.

And took action by hurting Sony and the Old Bungie in their wallets by not supporting Marathon anymore until we got Destiny back.

It fucking worked.

I never supported threats of any kind and especially the harassment of devs, so I am so sorry to the Marathon community for those who did that to you over the past few months.

But that was never me nor was that ever my wishes.
(Wasn't Aztecross' either but this is about me)

Basically this message is to those Marathon community members that hate that we aren't hating on Marathon anymore (switching up as they say).

Just like y'all had some nasty bad actors we did as well.

But I don't believe the people that were hating on Marathon for being chosen over Destiny are those people.

The future is bright for both games now... just be happy.

Oh hell no. Ppl should 100% hold it against him and many others. He was emotional? Hes a grown ass man spewing hate and throwing tantrums towards another community cuz his income game as a content creator stopped getting support.

Him and Divide have been the worst during all of this. Now after all that dmg is done just a "sorry lets all have fun"? Everything couldve been handled better.

Cross was "loving" Marathon up until rumors started going around no more D2 content then went full hate towards it after the EoS announcement. This is why I call all those guys frauds. Cross content since D2 EoS has been all grift and reaction.

They still plan to keep the PvPvE extraction aspect going and being a main part of the game. I think this is jumping the gun a bit. Lets wait and see how December and March pan out but tbh im also agree that Marathon needed lower stakes modes or easier ways to recoup from a loss tbh

U think a game being good is the only reason for popularity? The Finals is good ppl barely play it, Alan Wake 2 is good and ppl barely pkayed that, Cycle Frontier was good and that extraction shooter got cancelled.

MP games in general are harder to peel ppl away from if ppl already have their main game where they spent time and $ investing into that account.

Why u think the only 3 BRs to survive were FN, Apex and CoD. Ppl spent tons of money and time investing into those games its not as easy to peel ppl away unless they massively fk up case in point Overwatch which had no current competition and Rivals was able to carve their own space by mainly brandishing the Marvel IP.

Destiny folks, this really isn’t complicated.

There were two groups of people supporting the “We Want D3” movement.

Group A: Continued playing Destiny 2 with their friends. Made sure Bungie and Sony knew they wanted a future for Destiny. Posted a few We Want Destiny 3 emotes around the internet.

Group B: Threatened and bullied Devs, as well as streamers who weren’t on Destiny 2. Harassed the hell out of all the people playing or supporting Marathon. Made the Destiny community look like a bunch of entitled immature children.

You all fall under the same category. Group A and B are both “We Want Destiny 3” people. But Group A did so in a commendable, responsible, and mature way, while Group B caused tons of damage and now boasts around like they saved Destiny.

Group A folks gotta stop taking offense when people are upset with Group B folks ❤️
