BREAKING: PSC Releases Names of Successful Applicants for 50,000 Police Constable Recruitment

The Police Service Commission (PSC) has released the names of successful applicants for the recruitment of 50,000 Police Constables into the Nigeria Police Force.

Candidates who sat for the written examination can check their status on https://t.co/2MNqWP9f93 from 12:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2026. Successful applicants will also receive email and SMS notifications.

Successful candidates are to report to their designated Police Training Institutions for medical screening and documentation with their call-up slip, NIN, BVN, certificates, and other required documents. Failure to report or pass the medical examination will lead to disqualification.

Omo, The rescue of 44 kidnapped pupils and teachers from Orire is a major victory in Nigeria’s fight against insecurity.

The operation, led by the Joint Inter-Agency Task Force (JIATF) under the Chief of Defence Staff with the approval of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, was achieved through sustained intelligence-driven pressure on criminal hideouts in and around Old Oyo National Park.

The victims were released unconditionally, reaffirming that Nigeria’s security forces are gaining ground and that there will be no safe haven for kidnappers and terrorists.
