It was an amazing time at the Garden State eSports #LeadershipSummit at Georgian Court University today.

I am grateful for the opportunity to speak about the importance of #DigitalEquity and tell my story and “why”.

Thank you to Chris Aviles (@TechedUpTeacher ), for the invite and being an amazing advocate for our states youth. His dedication to connecting students through #education, #STEM, & #broadcast, not only empowers them for intersectional and transitional occupations, & digital inclusion but also emotional inclusion! ❤️💪🙏🏼

The speakers today told their “why”, their work, and shared the impact currently being made and what possibilities exist in the future.

It was amazing to hear the students express how much they feel part of their schools, as not just a student, but varsity athletes. Hearing from the coaches, teachers and parents… this is what this is all about!

It was also great to run into some familiar faces too! And some new ones! Larry Cocco, Marcos Navas (@mrnavas ) and my new hero who loves Mario and wrestling just as much as I do, Glenn Robbins, who’s son was one of the students that shared their story.
