This guy started the day with just twenty bucks, hoping to flip something into $500 by sunset. He went to the thrift store looking for furniture, but didn’t find anything worth buying. Luckily, he came across a free vintage TV on Facebook Marketplace and decided to turn it into a cat bed instead.

What followed was a full day of sanding, painting, staining, fixing a broken leg, and giving the whole piece a fresh makeover.

In the end, he didn’t hit his money goal — but he created a really cool retro-style cat bed. Instead of selling it, he decided to give it to some friends as a housewarming gift, and their cat immediately claimed it.
