I’m sorry to hear this. The best principal I ever had did her evaluations this way: “Ten to glow on, one to grow on.” She first gave ten compliments about good things she had seen during the observation. Then she suggested one area for growth. The teachers being observed felt so encouraged, that we worked even harder to be the best that we could be.
