Covering an S2 class this morning and to my delight we had a session with author Patrice Lawrence. Amazing to hear your story and hear about the inspiring variety of books you have written. Well done S2 for listening well and being respectful. @FalkirkHigh@FHSEnglishDept
All the best to one of the very best probationers we have had here in @FalkirkHigh, Mr Buchanan.
He has had such a positive impact on the students & been a major asset to the @FHS_HistoryDept and this dept.
We shall miss you and your ability to keep @_MrLMason on his toes! 🤣
Incredibly difficult day to be leaving such wonderful pupils and department @FalkirkHigh after what has been a truly amazing probationary year. Thank you everyone for your kind words and gifts, it is greatly appreciated and I’ll miss everyone🥲Onwards to the next adventure!😊
Had a great time at the FHS Summer Fair on Saturday promoting @FHSGoWithTheFlo with our pupil chair Gemma. Was great to speak to parents and pupils and promote all the fantastic work the group and @MrsJ_Morgan have done over the last year. 👏🥰
This week some S1 and S3 pupils have been writing poems for the Bainsford memorial. The project gave us the opportunity to work alongside @FHSEnglishDept and we certainly couldn’t have produced such great work with out the expertise we received.
Tomorrow we say farewell to most resilient S6 cohort who finish up after an incredibly challenging couple of years. We hope that they have a brilliant last day and then fulfil their potential in the upcoming exams. They have been a brilliant group of young people #weareFHS
