Literacy in The Woodies, R11 and R12 were consolidating and extending their knowledge of nouns, adjectives and verbs today by playing Simon Says and Corners. We also enjoyed practicing with balls and hoops and demonstrating our own verbs. @mrs_shand@SchoolBroomhill

Room 11 visited two local businesses. We prepared and asked questions with the help of our success criteria. We found out lots of really interesting information about how these businesses work. @SchoolBroomhill@mrs_shand
We are investigating the properties of 3D shapes. We made 3D nets with play doh and cocktail sticks and played a guess the 3D shape game based on features of the shape. We also learned about vertices, edges and faces of different shapes.@mrs_shand@SchoolBroomhill#MathsWeekScot

A new baby💕, E. Came to school yesterday after having been to visit her new sister. She shared some photos and then we shared class tips on being a big brother or sister. @mrs_shand@SchoolBroomhill
ERIC time in Room 11. We are sharing our reading book and reading with a partner to the class. Amongst other things we’re learning to project our voice, talk clearly, ask and answer questions. We are also learning the skills of a good audience.
