Thanks to Twitter and my colleagues for this awesome idea! It's so important now to give students a few extra minutes to physically and mentally get prepared for class. Also, a short student-led game at the beginning of my support classes has been great for SEL!
First day of school was a success! I tried out Jamboard with my classes today and absolutely LOVED it...such an engaging way to get to know my students a little better!
I am so sad that I can't say goodbye to my students in person! Thankfully, I had the chance to see them this morning through Google Meet and then they surprised me with thank you letters. I'm very grateful for such a wonderful teaching experience😊
@MissBauer_edu Thank you so much, Rose! I had such a positive experience working with you and the rest of the team as well. Wishing you a great rest of the school year!!
Easily my favorite week at camp because the theme was space! So many fun, easy, and engaging activities including spiral galaxies, marshmallow constellations, oreo aliens, and star suncatchers!
Education is not data or curriculum driven and it is not even student driven. Education is relationship driven. Teachers thrive w/ positive admin relationships & students thrive w/ positive teacher relationships. Relationships drive education.

None of this “kids these days” gripes around me please.
Our kids inspire me every day. They’re eager to find their path and make a difference.
And they’re overcoming significant obstacles. Our kids are world changers. #FutureDriven
Everyone in your building has some knowledge, a skill, or a perspective that you don't. Working together is not only better for you, but for your students too! #teachergoals
