This week we learned about processed and unprocessed food!

We sorted them into the correct categories using pictures of food from grocery store flyers🍊🥕🥗🍔🍰

As our final project for our structures unit, we built bridges and tested them to see how strong they are!

This week we created our own monsters, wrote a descriptive paragraph about them and then got to build them with play dough!

To start our descriptive writing unit, we listened to two different paragraphs and drew the monster being described.

Our drawings were much closer to the original when listening to the detailed paragraph!

We learned how important it is to add detail to our writing!

This week we’ve been learning about the impact of residential schools.

For #OrangeShirtDay we wrote words on our shirts for how children should feel at school🧡

Today we showed our knowledge of what makes a structure stable by building towers using Lego, wooden blocks and cards!

We also tested the stability of our structures to see if they could withstand the force of wind 💨🗼

We worked on a STEM challenge today…. Building a table using only paper and tape!

Our structures were strong, stable, and able to hold a load!
