Room 15 has been exploring the 7 elements of art. Today we learned about different lines and the impact they can have. We created line landscapes to show our knowledge. We finished with a gallery walk and gave each artist a compliment! @lavalleeLRSD

Room 15 spent the afternoon learning about the history behind the Festival Du Voyageur. We listened to traditional music, discussed the fur trade, made our own canoes and played a voyageur game. Thanks for the engaging and educational resources @FDVoyageur !#HeHo @lavalleeLRSD

We finished up our materials and structures unit learning about the architectural history of Indigenous Peoples in Canada. Some of our students used their new knowledge about igloos to create them at home! Way to go Room 15 Leopards! @lavalleeLRSD

Room 15 is learning how to create stronger structures by adding layers & folding materials. Today they were challenged to create strong structures using only grocery store flyers and tape. We tested them by seeing how many books they could hold! 📚 @lavalleeLRSD
