It makes sense. I got like 600k subs in two months when Genshin launched. It is the mass majority of subscribers on my channel. I then lost subs from older games, and continued to replace them with Gacha fans.
I genuinely think the channel is trapped forever.
Sigh. I decided to post a Genshin impact video for the first time in like 2 years. And not only was it 1/10 best performing, the amount of comments saying it was the first video recommended to them in years from me hurts.
Actually might need to make a new channel.
Hypothetically…. If I had the chance to interview the @PlaySoulframe devs later today….
Any burning questions you’d like me to get answers to?! #soulframe
I am not making Genshin Impact 2 or Destiny 3.
The first one in the initial idea.
The second one is closer to the vision.
We are still a long way out. Don't hold your breath.
I know it seems farfetched when random youtuber says "I am making a game".
But uh... I am making a game. After weeks of interviews, I found a studio officially. A bunch of great people from the shutdown Ubisoft Halifax studio have come together, and we are going to do this.
Also, the reason I am not even considering doing any of the programming or art on my own and hiring is because @EpicSwordmonkey did the art on the right without any major art direction other than a basic description of the game. They proved how much more talent is out there.

Mouseguard! 🐭 ⚔️ visual development. Unfortunately, this one went under when Fox was bought by Disney. It was wonderful to explore the enchanting world of David Peterson
@AC0DEM0NK3Y@syku123 Can fail at everything in life. Risks on this type of thing are really high due to competition.
I'm pretty aware it is an uphill battle with all the talented people in this industry!

@rob_keyes Halo reach story was awesome, but was the downfall of the multiplayer / MLG scene because of bloom / sprint melee trades.
Halo 4 maps were pretty terrible, Halo 5 maps were forgettable as well, but personally enjoyed the movement and pistol duels.
Halo 3 was the last one tbh
@avysmahl Negative! Maybe for a future idea in this world. But this one is a lot faster pace. It doesn't really exist in the market right now. There are similar vibes like Wittle defenders, but theirs is more a tower defense game than what we are going to build
