Last night, my cousin got robbed by armed gunmen who took away his car & phone in Alkali Road Kaduna. When he got home, he was able to track the movement of the car through the phone the robbers took and he discovered that the car was parked at Mamu Oil in Rigachikun (outskirts of Kaduna).

He rushed to the nearest police station Gabasawa to initiate an emergency chase. But disappointingly, the Police told him they coudn’t go with him, that he needed to submit a report/statement. Before the statement & all the Police formalities, the car was at Sharada in Kumbotso LGA Kano.

Eventually, he lost connection to the phone he was tracking them through (probably because the battery drained or they switched it off). That is how he lost track of his car that could have been rescued in Kaduna.

This is a terrible response to an emergency situation by the Nigerian Police, I call upon the Police Authorities to initiate more swift response to emergency situations to Nigerians especially in this critical times of insecurity.
Furthermore, we are soliciting information from anyone regarding the whereabouts of the stolen vehicle and any suspicious activity related to the incident.

I hate the fact that no matter how much you love someone you have to make peace with the term that their loyalty or love has a price one way or the other, it might not be monetary or materials but when 2 values are on the scale and at risk, one will outweigh the other and thats the price of the latter. and the only difference in the price is that some will sell it cheap and some will sell it very expensive, but at the end of the day, there’s always a price tag attached to it.

The only unshakable loyalty in this world is a mother’s loyalty. Believe it or not.
