Over the last six weeks, over 100 teens explored the community mural-making process while engaging with civic services and those who provide them. For over a year, we've been working on a massive piece of public art -- basically it is a peace garden memorial to honor the lives lost to gun violence. It incorporates shredded guns, and the garden beds will have "gun mulch" made from the wood stock of surrendered guns. It will softly light up every 12 minutes to honor another life lost to guns in America. THIS SUNDAY from 12-3 we'll be having an epic block party and dedication. Join us if you can!
