May this sacred occasion inspire compassion, unity, sacrifice, and gratitude in our communities. We wish you and your loved ones peace, joy, and blessings throughout the festivities
Vivian’s "heritage web" demonstration powerfully illustrated how communities, heritage institutions, and the county government are deeply interconnected. Just like the threads of a web, if one connection is broken, everything weakens and eventually falls apart.
The education team came prepared to teach and engage young learners through Kakapel rock art, storytelling, and fun educational activities.
As we celebrate Museums Uniting a Divided World, we continue to show that museums are spaces for learning and connection.

Just over a year ago, I took the oath of office as Cabinet Secretary for Ministry of Gender, Culture and Children services entrusted by H.E the President William Ruto with a mandate that goes to the very heart of our Nation’s social fabric, identity and future.
Over the past year, we have worked together with a deep sense of duty to the people of Kenya to advance the rights, welfare , dignity and opportunities of women, men , children and vulnerable members of our society while preserving and celebrating the rich cultural heritage that defines us as a Nation .
This has reinforced a fundamental conviction: that gender equality, child protection and cultural advancement are not peripheral concerns of Government . They are central pillars of National transformation, social cohesion and sustainable development a vision that H.E President William Ruto continues to Champion thorough his unwavering commitment to the empowerment of every Kenyan .
As a Ministry, we have remained steadfast in strengthening policy frameworks, deepening institutional coordination, advancing inclusion and building partnerships that place the welfare of people at the centre of governance.
As I reflect on this first anniversary in office, I do so with humility and renewed resolve and an even greater commitment to serve the great people of Kenya . The work continues and so does our collective resolve .
