We homeschooled both of our daughters. I object to your suggestion. Early on we did the Iowa Basic Test. We realized the test didn’t tell us anything that we didn’t already know about their progress. Our girls were good in math and science, but they struggled with spelling. The testing took a significant amount of time. This was time that could not be spent on instruction. Required testing degrades the education by spending time and energy on the test that does not teach the student anything.

Four years ago, I filed a claim with the federal government under the Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program (CICP) from the vaccine injury I had from the COVID booster shot. After the booster shot, I developed Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome(POTS). It caused my pulse to jump from 60 bpm to 120 bpm just by standing up. Along with that came dizziness, nausea, light sensitivity, brain fog, fatigue, heat sensitivity, and a few other symptoms. I lost 15 pounds in one month. I was unable to work a full day at the plant for seven months. With these symptoms, I was worried about long term nursing home care as a possibility which is why I filed a claim.

After FOUR YEARS, my claim is still under review. I think my application needs a balloon to celebrate four years. I would bake a cake, but I also developed a gluten allergy after the shot.

Ask me why I don’t want the government in charge of my health care.
