This fight is far from over — without urgent support, we risk losing more vital spaces that are the heart of live music. We need to keep working together to protect the future of our venues.

We are incredibly grateful to Fred Perry for their continued support and delighted to share that over £20,000 was raised for MVT through this initiative at the end of last year.
Each year @FredPerry donates 10% of net sales from their website and select stores on Black Friday to community organisations - and for the last five years that has included Music Venue Trust.
This initiative celebrates rising talent, providing a snapshot of the future of music, while helping artists gain exposure on stages where icons like Adele and Coldplay first performed.
MVT and members of the Music Venue Alliance have teamed up with @DrownedinSound to create The Class of 2025, spotlighting 58 “must-see” live acts nominated by over 800 grassroots venue operators across the UK.
Keep It Unreal returns in March as part of @mrscruff1's UK tour supporting @musicvenuetrust & @SaveOurSceneUK 💿
The 14 date ‘miniature arena tour' will donate £1 from each ticket sold to LiveLine Fund.

It’s time for real investment — like adding a £1 grassroots levy to stadium ticket sales — to save the spaces where music begins. Without grassroots venues, the future of music in Wales, and beyond, is at risk. Long live The Moon!
The closure of The Moon was a devastating blow to Cardiff’s music scene, another lost cornerstone in a crumbling foundation of grassroots venues like Gwdihŵ and Buffalo.
Without them, the leap to larger stages becomes impossible, and the pipeline of talent dries up. Cardiff was once named the UK’s first Music City, but titles mean nothing without action.
