Last week, agricultural leaders from Colombia and Panama traveled across Arizona with NASDA during the WASDA Annual Meeting. From forests and ranches to dairies, grain operations and university research stations, every stop sparked conversations about shared challenges, practical solutions and opportunities to strengthen agricultural trade. The mission concluded with stronger relationships and shared new visions for continued collaboration.

@KansasDeptofAg recently welcomed an agribusiness delegation from India as part of a NASDA inbound trade mission, showcasing U.S. innovation in corn, sorghum and value-added agriculture. By being on the ground of farms and agricultural businesses, delegates had the opportunity to gain greater confidence in the quality and reliability of American agricultural products, leading to stronger trade partnerships.

With no prior farming experience, Vicki Wissler began her lavendar farm at 60 years old. As part of the International Year of the Woman Farmer, NASDA is proud to highlight our member from the @MTAgriculture, Director Jillien Streit. As a farm wife, farm mom and agricultural leader, Director Streit emphasizes that every person has unique strengths to contribute to agriculture and that collaboration is key to advancing the industry. While not raised directly in agriculture, Director Streit shared how she embraced her talents as a leader, advocate and teacher to help advance her own family farm operation and agriculture across her state.
