Pre-orders were only open for Digimon the Movies on Blu-ray a few hours yesterday before Amazon closed them, likely because of fans swarming and them wanting to make sure they'd have enough before opening again.

That got it to 7 on the Blu-ray charts.

We have a release date! Finally!! I’m back as the voice of Tai, the leader of the Digimon, along with the rest of the original cast.

And if you loved Digimon the Movie then you’ll love Digimon the Movies 3 times as much! That’s because the script for the new dub stays true to the original 3 Japanese mini movies upon which it was based.

The new Blu-ray DVD will be out Dec 17th and have this new dubbed version packaged together with the original movie you remember along with those three mini movies in the original Japanese.
