The #BuffaloTrunkfish gets its name from the large hump on its back, which looks a bit like a buffalo! ๐ฆฌ
These trunkfish are still showing off their blue juvenile coloration. As they grow, theyโll develop the mottled brown-and-white adult pattern seen in older trunkfish.
In Ohuria, Mexico, Marine Conservation Action Fund project leader Alejandra Sandoval is heading up the Ocean Leaders Program, helping drive community-based conservation in the small coastal village.

Our aerial survey team saw more than 200 humpback whales on a single survey! ๐๐ฉ๏ธ
East of Cape Cod, the Aquarium's #AndersonCabotCenter aerial survey team sighted a total of 222 humpback whales. Itโs an exciting sign that whale activity in the region is ramping up!
