CALLOUT: On Monday @NWPolice asked for assistance from @sardawales and ourselves with a missing person enquiry in the Saltney area.
The missing person was located before we deployed.
CALLOUT: On Wed @aberdyfiSART asked @sssarteam and @newsar to assist with a rescue at Llyn Efyrnwy (Lake Vyrnwy). While we were travelling news was received that a @WelshAmbulance crew and members of the public had assisted the casualty back to the road so we stood down.

After packaging onto a stretcher he was carried to a waiting Maritime and Coastguard Agency helicopter for transport to hospital.
Several other agencies responded including Fire and Rescue from Mid and West Wales and Shropshire.

CALLOUT: On Sunday afternoon @NWPolice asked us to assist a climber at Pant quarry near Llanymynech. He had been struck by a large rock and suffered a significant leg injury.

He was managing the rope for his climbing partner when the rock was dislodged and impacted him. Team members responded in two Landrovers. The casualty was assessed at scene by @WelshAmbulance and one our our team doctors.

CALLOUT: On Sunday afternoon the team was contacted by @NWPolice to assist with a missing person search in the Llangollen area. Shortly after our First Responder started to plan our response we were informed that the missing person had been located, so we stood down.
Gethin Jones went along to meet Edale MRT. But he could have visited any one of the @MountainResqUK to get a similar view of the work our volunteers do.

CALLOUT: At 01:30 today the team was called to provide support to @NWPolice with a missing person enquiry in the Bodelwyddan area. Assistance was provided by our First Responder only. Shortly afterwards the missing person was located and we stood down.
We have also run NEWSAR awareness sessions on site and we look forward to going along again to future events.
