Starting the year with a luxury problem ✨
I have access to a unique gallery / coffee bar in Amsterdam - right across the Rijksmuseum - with 10 screens ready for digital art.
Who wants to show digital art here?
And the conversations continued...
After the co-working session, we hosted an Art & Blockchain discussion, supported by @superteamNL.
More than half of the participants were completely new to blockchain but active in the art world, leading to thoughtful conversations and fresh perspectives.
Out of 120 registrations, 12 people joined us. Sometimes a smaller group creates the best discussions-over coffee, croissants, and curiosity.
Building bridges between artists and the Solana ecosystem, one conversation at a time.

Proof of Flow.
One of the activities made possible by the @SuperteamNL grant.
On June 16, we brought together local Solana builders in Amsterdam for a relaxed co-working session. Coffee, conversations, collaboration, and plenty of ideas shared.
Sometimes the biggest impact comes from simply creating space for people to build together.

Tonight's Global Pizza Party in Amsterdam, and the Circles table - with its own community currency Amsterdam CRC - has the gluten-free pizza. Saying it because somebody always asks.
Art through a collector's eyes — why buy it, how do you choose? Yesterday MINA, Amsterdam opened an exhibition from the collection of @cascrypto . Casper's differently-wired perspective makes the art come alive in ways you don't expect. Open daily until May 28, opposite the Rijksmuseum.
I hear and respect the concerns raised about the next exhibition at Gallery Mina.
This is the 9th digital exhibition we’ve organized at Gallery Mina, but the first one curated from a collector’s point of view, based on the Cascrypto collection of 1500+ artworks. For this edition, 65 artworks by 51 unique artists were selected. The exhibition was created as a non-commercial event, with genuine love for digital art and the NFT space.
But in hindsight, we should have personally asked artists for consent before including their works. That criticism is fair.
Respecting artists matters deeply to me. I believe blockchain creates powerful ways to preserve attribution and credit, but technology should never replace communication and care.
It honestly hurts to see artists I admire feel uncomfortable or withdraw from the exhibition. There was never bad intention - only a different perspective, and mistakes made along the way.
