Last night Labour councillors voted for a budget that begins the task of restoring public services, investing in local people and supporting household budgets.
Lots of positive conversations in Wollaton West this morning with our team of @ng_labour councillors and volunteers. We picked up feedback, on lots of issues particularly pleased to be able to tell people about our @UKLabour £7.3bn investment into fixing local roads!
Today we can confirm that Nottingham City Council will be slashing the council tax increase by ruling out a 4.99% rate, for the first time in 18 years
This will benefit every household in Nottingham, putting more money into the pockets of local people
