Chaired a high-level virtual review meeting with all District Commissioners of Assam to strengthen measures against Japanese Encephalitis and fast-track the TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.

Instructions have been issued to enhance JE surveillance, early detection, vector control, mosquito net usage and public awareness. Also instructed officials to accelerate TB case identification, treatment, Nikshay Poshan Yojana benefits and the TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan on a war footing.

All districts have been directed to strengthen surveillance, prevention and treatment efforts through coordinated action between the Health Department and district administration.
