@bunsenbernerbmd My bestest boy, Typhoon Kuma the GOAT. My protector, my goofball, my utter PITA. 7 years of high maintenance and unwavering loyalty. ๐
The reasons he shared are heartbreaking because this is what the "bear vs man" discussion is actually about. Violence against women.
One thing I'm seeing more & more come from this "man vs bear" discussion is more & more men standing up to highlight that this discussion is about violence against women, yet misogynistic abusive men continue to willfully miss the point and cry about women choosing the bear.
Compliments of @9_tellthetruth
Sick with a cold and started binging House of Usher. @MarkHamill, you are phenomenal. Iโm only three episodes in and you MAKE this. The force is still very much with you.
I just want to say thank you @neilhimself for The Ocean at the End of the Lane. I read the book years ago and loved it. Tonight I saw it on stage (on a business trip to London). They did your story justice and I am just so, so happy. That is what a great story can do. Give joy.
Is anyone else finding this reading of Twitter off-putting? ๐ โXโ Is so much less friendly, no personalityโฆ as a Tweeter and a marketer, I hate it.
And yes, if I were a flower I *would* be a daffodil ๐คฃโฅ๏ธ My favorite since I was five years oldโฆ
@ShelfNerds But if I expected it to be a direct prequel to TOS then yeah, Iโd be disappointed. But also probably not enjoying it so much. SNW is a much freer world than what TOS portrayed.
@ShelfNerds Does it have to map directly back to TOS? I rather thought of SNW as a modern retelling of what the past could have been, like an alternate universe even. With threads connect with TOS that I can appreciate the foundation of the stories.
