@EdLawCenter ARP funding to schools was granted based on economic need. No district receiving major ARP $ can sustain state aid cuts without using ARP to fill the gap. Now is an excellent time to #pauseS2 write legislation that facilitates #adequacyforall@GovMurphy@DrAllenMcMillan@nj_sos
@CarlySitrin@EdLawCenter Congratulations to these districts! Finally! How about NJ does the right thing and restore state aid to all the districts seeing state aid cuts due to S2…during a pandemic! @nj_sos@GovMurphy
@nj_sos What a joke. Increasing school aide should begin with not cuts. To increase aide and still have massive cuts year over year for many districts is wrong.
Many S2 districts are being cut millions of dollars EACH during a pandemic.& are being told that their residents 'aren't paying enough in property taxes'?? Draconian state aide cuts shift tax burden to local taxpayers. Does not alleviate it! @NJSenatePres@GovMurphy@nj_sos
Governor Murphy has made increasing school aid a top priority, and he’s doing it fairly and equitably, ensuring that towns with growing enrollment get the money they deserve. That’s the best way to hold down property taxes. We need him for another four years. #NJGovDebate
Shocking that an S2 districts needs $$ for roofs and paving. Yet @GovMurphy still allowing CUTS to some schools while state sits on billions in federal $$. Absolutely ridiculous isn't it @SecCardona?
If @wearetrschools keeps getting cut the tens of millions they are losing to S2 there wont be a HS team for these kids. Thats the reality of S2. Help the S2 districts. They certainly dont have lots of extra federal dollars-they are too busy plugging massive budget holes.
So proud of Toms River East for representing the very best of New Jersey in the @LittleLeague World Series! You’ve made us all proud, and we’re looking forward to rooting for you next season on the baseball diamond.
Glad the NJ spending plan for federal $$ was approved-we do not need an acceleration coach -what we do need is not to be cut millions of $$$ in midst of the pandemic by S2-yet thats what is happening to FRHSD. #theregional being cut almost $7 million. Looking for help @GovMurphy
This is a simple decision that would save programs at over 100+ suffering public schools. It would take a small percentage of the Federal Funds to make this happen! How important is it to our legislators? Actions are more telling than words! @nj_sos@stevenoroho
@NJSenatePres if your legislation wasn't continuing to punish 100+ districts with S2 it would be a start. We have been saying this for months. Keep us whole.@GovMurphy https://t.co/K35l4HfKiR

To put this in perspective, even after bump in Extraordinary Aid, the FRHSD still being cut over 5 million $$. Have stated again & again what S2 is doing to many efficient districts. With billions from Fed. Govt to blindly push forward is malfeasance of the highest order.
@CarlySitrin@nj_sos@GovMurphy@NJSenatePres That doesn't make much sense, since they were asked to at least pause the cuts through the pandemic and that request was denied.
Can you ask the secretary why he's ok with @GovMurphy and @NJSenatePres cutting funding to over 100 districts here in NJ as we try to move forward from the pandemic?
