With the nearing return of De Antillen, the Zr. Ms. Holland has arrived in the early hours of this day in the carribean sea, heading for Sint Eustatius at the moment. We wish all players fun and a safe passage, as we continue our mission to ensure exactly that for all. 🌊🏝️⚓️
Three days ago, the LSU were involved in a military exercise in the South China Sea with the PLA. Having come upon several technical difficulties throughout the event, which were identified and handed forward, we look forward to further events.
Crews from our Large Surface Unit participated in Exercise Sky Trident 2025 today, taking place in Malaysian waters. The Zr. Ms Zeven Provinciën and it's crew worked alongside our Malaysian counterparts to improve international cooperation throughout several naval aspects.
Our Zr. Ms Zeven Provinciën operated in the South China Sea territory for the first time, one of @8Rlbx their NH-90s also participated in today's operations but was sadly limited to to technical issues

Today, the Zr. Ms. Holland and Zr. Ms. De Zeven Provinciën were seen leaving Den Helder after the closure of De Antillen. They are currently enroute to Sint Eustatius to refuel and dock there, Zr. Ms. Pelikaan will join their course at a later date due to ongoing repairs. Ahoy!

This evening, our Zr. Ms Zeven Provinciën arrived in Malaysia to participate in JOSTEX24, together with a single NH90 from our @8Rlbx. JOSTEX24 is a three day exercise commencing on Friday evening with a ceremonial opening.
Yesterday afternoon, our Zr. Ms Tromp was active in Malaysian waters together with @8Rlbx for exercise ''LeeuwRimau'', where we trained and worked with our Malaysian partners to improve our strategics and knowledge on certain naval operation aspects
Tonight, Operation Strikeback was launched by the NLD and the UK. In combined efforts, we, despite troubles, managed to bring the operation to an end together, and look upon further operations between the NLD and the UK. Units from both LSU and 860th Squadron were attending.🇳🇱🇬🇧
During a state visit between the Prime Minister and Minister of Defense and a delegation from the United Kingdom, the NLMARFOR had been able to welcome the two sides aboard the De Zeven Provincien.

Today, Captain Simonmutsaers transferred his command over the NLOPS to Commander AegirValkyrie, who will now as Commandant of the NLOPS ensure that the NLOPS will bring forward good and competent sailors and naval aviators and the work associated with it.

Once again, the NLMARFOR partook in large scale anti-piracy operations, with around 12 pirate boats being at stake and violating the Dutch waterspace. However, once again, we and other branches managed to stop the pirates in their track.

Just today, the NLMARFOR responded to several piracy calls in De Antillen, deploying the De Zeven Provinciën against roughly 7 pirate boats to keep our seas clear. With support from other DAF branches, the pirates in question were defeated with ease.

Earlier today, the Zr. Ms. Pelikaan and the Zr. Ms. Zeven Provinciën got to see action against 4 pirate vessels, with more than 6 pirates online. With support from the marines and naval aviation, the pirates were decimated flawlessly.
Recently, the 2019 version of the Zr. Ms. Pelikaan has been decommissioned and replaced by the newly refurbished version alongside a ship launch ceremony. This version includes two 50. Cals, 10 cargo slots for cargo recovery, and even a functional cafeteria! How cool is that?
Yesterday, the Maritime Force, alongside the Marines, had the pleasure of being inspected by the King and Crown Prince of Norway at the Huis Ten B. Paleis. This was then followed up by a tour of Sint Eustatius.
