The last member of my first team at Northside to graduate. Gonna be strange to coach a team without him on it next year.

There were highs, lows, and very lows, but the team kept competing and kept pushing forward regardless. I’m excited to see what the future holds for these guys. I hope we keep working to get better.

The team fielding% was .922 (which is pretty solid for a HS team in my opinion) and averaged 4.4 runs per game (which needs work in my opinion).

The lone senior starter, @maxxroland hit .308 with a .859 OPS. He had 16 2Bs, a 3B, 16 RBIs and 24 runs from the 2-hole, and was a perfect 5 for 5 stealing bases.

@11JonnyRobinson (2020) and @BauerSharp15 (2021) hit 3 and 4 and combined to have 94 hits, 21 2Bs, 3 3Bs, and 9 HRs. @landon13085792 won 7 games on the mound and had a 3.32 ERA.

Some highlights of the season: We played 26 games against a team ranked in the top 10. We beat the 5th, 7th, 8th, and 10th ranked team in AISA. Made the playoffs, and took the 23-time state champion @gatorbaseball21 to a game three.

The season comes to a close: Led off a freshman SS all year; hit a sophomore cleanup, and played 3 others; started an 8th grader; and had one senior starter that led them in the right direction. This may have been a growing year, but this team has scary potential moving forward.
