🌳 Church Street is set for a transformation!
Work begins on Monday 10 August on the £2.9m Church Street Public Realm Scheme, creating a more attractive, accessible and vibrant town centre.
To keep two-way traffic and pedestrian access in place, some on-street parking spaces and bus stops will be temporarily affected during certain phases of the works.

Participants in our Seniors’ Summer Scheme enjoyed an informative tour of the newly restored Annesley Walled Garden and Arboretum at Castlewellan Forest Park.🌞
Visitors were welcomed by Head Gardener Alwyn Sinnamon and the gardening team, who shared the rich history of the site and highlighted the extensive restoration work that has brought this historic garden back to life.
