A new BMJ study reviewing 17 studies, most conducted in Indonesia, found that guava juice may help raise hemoglobin levels, especially in women and teen girls.
Guava is naturally rich in vitamin C, which helps the body absorb iron more effectively.
Guava juice may offer a low cost, food based way to support iron health in communities where anemia affects millions.

The NNEdPro India team over the past week, had the wonderful opportunity to visit the Little Literacy Library initiative as it celebrated its 5th Anniversary at RG Kar & Chetla.
It was incredibly heartwarming to witness the impact the initiative has created over five years of dedicated community engagement. The children enthusiastically shared their learnings, experiences, and growth with the team, a powerful reminder of the importance of creating safe and nurturing learning spaces within communities.
The celebration brought together the children, their parents, library in charges, educational supervisors, and members of the NNEdPro India team who have coordinated and supported the programme since its inception. The celebrations were marked with cake cutting, shared snacks, joyful conversations, and reflections on the journey so far.
A truly meaningful celebration of learning, community, and collective impact.
PS: Consent was taken from Parents before taking pictures of the children.
