Day 16. I'll be honest, I'm praying Richard will go home soon. But I totally understand why he feels he can't. I admire his determination beyond words. Still, I'm hoping someone powerful will stand up and say: "It's OK Richard. We're on it. We'll take it from here."

It’s World Mental Health Day today, so we celebrated on Friday by wearing yellow. It’s ok not to be ok, and we are proud to offer a drop in session with our Mental Health First Aiders every day after school.
On October 6th, as part of our English Literature symposium series, Dr Lucy Brookes from Worcester College, Oxford University, came to talk to about Medieval Romance Literature. 95 students attended the talk with some incisive questions from Year 10 and 11 students.
It’s been a sporty week at NOA with netball and football features against local school BGN. It was a 20-12 win for our Yr 11 netball team, who had a fantastic team performance throughout. Well done to all players involved.
