Arbitry Compute: a proof.
Scaling: a proof.

Everything crypto built a separate chain for reduces to the same check. What can be proven will eventually be proven.

Each network is a distinct attack surface with its own hardware regime, and all of them secure the same asset.

Nockchain's security model is a composable protocol of networks collectively securing base:0x9b5e262cf9bb04869ab40b19af91d2dc85761722.

As iron sharpens iron, one network secures another.

[Nockchain @nockchain]

We're aiming to make Nockchain the most secure money in the world.

Two compute networks already secure base:0x9b5e262cf9bb04869ab40b19af91d2dc85761722, with compute equivalent to $435M+ in hardware behind every block.

[Nockchain @nockchain]

Consensus is compute-agnostic, so new networks are added through standard upgrades. Each new network adds:

Budget: more real cost behind every block.
Resilience: one substrate breaks, the chain is fine.
Distribution: a new population of miners earning base:0x9b5e262cf9bb04869ab40b19af91d2dc85761722.

Every figure is live on nockscan, under AI Compute in Perspective: work rate, sustained rate, all-time high, H100 equivalents, power draw, first AI-PoW block.

Capacity is no longer the constraint. Demand is: turning it into inference someone paid for.

Dashboard: https://t.co/XUvElVe9iz

[Nockchain @nockchain]

Three weeks after the first AI-PoW block, the AI Compute Network's work rate peaked today at 19.6 ExaMAC/s, about 19,600 H100 equivalents at dense INT8, 170x the first reading.

Worth shining some light on the unit, and how the number is derived.

[Nockchain @nockchain]

This is why the unit matters more than the number.

A failed hash has no buyer. A multiply-accumulate is worth something to whoever paid for it.

The work that secures the chain is not thrown away. It is useful in its own right.

Can a blockchain reward miners for more than one kind of verifiable computation?

Bitcoin gives every miner the same basic task: search for a valid hash. This provides a consistent measure of mining power because more hashpower means a greater chance of producing the next block. Hashing works well for consensus even though its output has little value outside the blockchain.

Nockchain replaces hash grinding as the costly mining work with generating proofs over NockVM computation. More proofpower gives a miner a greater chance of producing the next valid block, analogous to hashpower in Bitcoin.

Nockchain extends this model beyond a single kind of work. Its base ZKPoW network rewards NockVM proof generation. A separate AI PoW network lets inference providers reuse existing model computation while competing for PoW rewards. Each has its own difficulty and incentive structure.

For proof-based mining to work, proofpower has to remain tied to fresh computation. A miner's chance of winning should scale with effective proofpower without allowing previous work to be reused or amortized across new mining puzzles.

The protocol addresses this by cryptographically binding each puzzle to fresh inputs. Extending the model into a broader compute market introduces another requirement: there also has to be external demand for the computation being incentivized.

[Nockchain @nockchain]

Nockchain's AI-PoW went live three weeks ago.
Day one: 30 PetaMAC/s.
Today: 5.3 ExaMAC/s.

At dense INT8 that is about 5,300 H100s, and miners are paid in base:0x9b5e262cf9bb04869ab40b19af91d2dc85761722 for it.

Compute is the most important commodity of the century. It finally has a market. Now we make that inference useful.

Nockchain is eating more AI Compute every day.

We’ve been adding almost an ExaMAC every day for the past couple of days.
