🔴 The Met Office has issued a Red Weather Warning for extreme heat across Neath Port Talbot, including all South sites (Neath College, Afan College, Llandarcy Academy of Sport, Pontardawe College, and our Swansea and Maesteg Construction Centres).

These sites will be closed to learners on Wednesday and Thursday, except for those undertaking exams and assessments. These will go ahead as planned.

❗Please note: Lilliput Day Nursery will also be closed.

🟠 An Amber Weather Warning is in place for Powys (Brecon Beacons College and Newtown College). These sites will remain open as normal.

All set for South Africa!! 🇿🇦🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿Students from across the college are spending 17 days touring South Africa, representing NPTC Group in Netball & Rugby fixtures. They will also take part in volunteering work & embrace cultural experiences across the regions. What an opportunity 👏

Day 16: A visit to the local Emergency Medical Services in Niagra. We got to meet the station Commander and also sit in some of the vehicles. We also met the Specialist response unit commander 🚑🚨⛑️🏥

Amazing to see the animals at Omega Park and the work they do to preserve the breeds! Everyone had a fantastic time and the guide JY was great and very knowledgable !
