At our Rickenbacker Intermodal Facility in Columbus, Ohio, a major expansion is nearing completion. It’s the latest step in more than $30 million invested at the terminal since it opened in 2008, creating more room to grow:

Rail safety starts one conversation at a time.

This week, more than 70 Team NS volunteers joined Operation Lifesaver and our fellow railroaders for rail crossing safety blitzes in Atlanta, Birmingham, Chicago, Cleveland and Pittsburgh.

Together, we shared rail safety information with drivers to reinforce a simple but important message: safe choices at crossings and around trains and tracks can save lives. Whether it's a daily commute or heading out on a road trip, a few extra seconds can make all the difference.
