A historic Saturday at The Den.

The Ntare Lions League Season XVI Grand Finale was more than a match. It was a homecoming.

We were honoured to host the State Minister for Sports, Hon. @OgwangOgwang , who represented H.E. the President of the Republic of Uganda as the we broke ground for the NLL Home Grounds (The Den).

After 15 nomadic seasons, the Lions finally laid the first stone of a permanent home.

On the pitch, defending champions TY @omujuma wrote the first chapter of that new era, defeating @Machando04 FC on penalties to be crowned inaugural champions of The Den.

One finale. One shield. A new home.
Welcome home, Lions!

A house is not a home but home is where you belong, sleep, enjoy and feel the comfort when you aren't pressurized about whatever you do.
Ladies and gentlemen, the return of Allan Otim back home 🏠 from Munge's Abazibu. A true spear header indeed 💪.

Going to spend time analyzing @ntare_league players and comparing them to the elite of world football…

If you know of a 🧻 guy called @Bayonn14 then you’ll know what Araujo is… a CB that can deputise at RB has leadership & proper gas…

This is what’s happening! Our new field leadership structure. #FeelTheBean

[TY Omujuma @omujuma]

This is an appreciation post for our outgoing Captains @NoelK_UG and @Phil_Neyma.

Under their captaincy, TY conquered the inaugural Crichton Cup, lifted the Season 15 @ntare_league Shield and helped us make history in Season 16 by becoming the first team to successfully defend the NLL Shield. #FeelTheBean

Over a year ago, @HeathensRFC entered a rather audacious partnership with our brothers - The @Abashwekyi. It was one built on dreams. One of those was realized this weekend when we finally formalized something we have navigated since about that time.

Great credit to @AKBanturaki - a fan who drove both partnerships from the background. To Coach Lucky Babigumira at @Ntare_School. And to my colleagues on the Heathens Executive and technical team who have backed this.

Only but the first signature, not the last!
