@Kiwi_SDR Nice unit... we need one for the VHF/UHF/SHF (50 MHz>>10GHz). These could be put on mountaintops or other high places as targets to test radios/antennas on these frequencies as well as listening for other stations... These frequencies are getting a lot more use!
There is plenty of evidence out there that Trump has committed Treason. Now we need someone back there in DC to walk into the DOJ and file a citizen arrest warrant... They must act on this.
@Christo54905366@NobodymrRobert That bolt sitting in the hole does nothing for the tower. Only when it has a nut and is properly torqued does it function properly. Maybe finding a nut in the dirt near the tower will alert to a problem, but the open empty hole is easily spotted by qualified climbers.
@cowardlygardner@LaInaMinute The wells are tapping the groundwater flow from Cartago Creek drainage and the alluvial fan at the base of the Sierras... they are not getting it from below the lake bed. They mine salt from the lake...
@MikeKory3@accuweather You would have to pump it up 1500' and it would take only a couple of seconds of that flow to overflow that little basin up there.... That storm drain keeps houses from being flooded...
@LesuGarushia@accuweather I see, you would rather see the houses in the basin flooded halfway up there first floors like back east rather than an efficient storm drainage system....

@GeorgeKZI@foxweather Those are flood control channels, there is no location for downstream reservoirs, that water is highly polluted from running off of streets and other non-permeable surfaces...
@RWB_American That is storm runoff from the city... what is really needed is better groundwater capture in the headwaters of all the streams and rivers. Beavers can do the job much better than $$$$ concrete dams...
