Punishing more people who live, spend, and contribute here just repeats that mistake. The real problem is govt spending and policy, not immigrants sending money abroad.

Also, same people live and spend in the UK, what % of their disposable income leaves the UK? If anything this is pointing towards double taxation, not economic drain.
