Last night, our officers were kept busy conducting speed enforcement on Highway 1. This driver was stopped after travelling 157 km/h in an 80 km/h zone. Their excuse for travelling at that speed? No one drives the speed limit that late at night.
Apparently, no one told them we’d be out there enforcing it.

Their determination, resilience, and heart inspired fans from coast to coast, and this remarkable journey is one our country can be proud of. Thank you, Team Canada, for an unforgettable run. ⚽❤️

We have seen an uptick in reports of youth discharging fireworks over the last two weeks. Reports have primarily come from the Lynn Valley and Delbrook neighbourhoods. With the dry weather and elevated risk of fires, setting off fireworks is extremely dangerous. It is also illegal. Please do your part to help protect our neighbourhoods, parks, and community during this period of elevated fire risk.

With the largest Canadian flag ever produced on display right here in our backyard, we took the opportunity to salute our flag and cheer on Team Canada. It only felt fitting to have Canada’s national police force standing proudly beside it. 🇨🇦 A special thank you to Grouse Mountain for allowing us to be part of this historic moment.
