Today, June 12, 2026, the Spring Village Bridge in Nightingale Grove was officially declared open in a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.

The bridge has been closed since February 2022. Following reconstruction totalling close to J$250 million

Many traffic signals don’t just rely on timers.
🔄 They use induction loops embedded beneath the road surface.
📡 These loops detect vehicles waiting at intersections.
⏱️ The system can then adjust signal timing to improve traffic flow.
🚦 This helps reduce unnecessary delays

REOPENED: Long Lane (Stony Hill Road) has been reopened to vehicular traffic. The works have been completed ahead of schedule.

The paving works are slated to be undertaken in short order.
