@BobFergusonAG We remember you standing with our community when it mattered most and appreciate your promise to continue that fight. Thank you Governor-elect Ferguson!
With your support, NWIRP will continue to keep families together, protect people from violence, and provide our community members with new opportunities - no matter who is in office.
The President-elect has promised to begin the largest deportation operation in the history of this country as soon as he takes the oath of office. We are ready to fight back. And we know you are too.
Our community is scared, and for good reason. But we know that when we band together with our client communities “no están solos, no están solas.” They are not alone.

The asylum ban, which came as part of a temporary DHS rule, has had far less impact on migrants than the procedural changes in the rule which allowed Border Patrol agents to stop referring migrants for asylum screenings in the first place.
THAT has been the actual big change.
As we, @NWIRP, @ACLU_SoCal, and our partners have long said: CARRP is discriminatory, unlawful, and just plain cruel.
It’s long past time for this policy to end.Join us and ask USCIS to rescind this immigration policy before more people are harmed.

BREAKING: We are in court today on behalf of thousands of green-card and citizenship applicants who have been stuck in “immigration purgatory” due to a secretive USCIS policy known as CARRP.
This isn’t how our immigration system is supposed to work.
