NWSC has experienced a complete power outage across our service infrastructure.
This is affecting water production, treatment, and distribution, leading to low water pressure or temporary interruptions in several areas.
UETCL is actively investigating and working to restore power.
Our teams are on standby, running standby generators where possible, and coordinating closely to resolve the issue quickly.
We assure you that we will keep you regularly updated on the progress.

Water Supply Update-4th June 2026 π°
We regret the ongoing water interruption affecting Jinja City, Njeru, Bugembe, Namulesa, Iganga, Mayuge and surrounding areas.
Cause: Power outage at Masese Water Treatment Plant since 11:00pm last night.
Our team is working closely with UEDCL to restore power. Water supply is expected to resume by 6:00pm today.
Please use available water sparingly. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

Kireka Water Supply Update
4th June 2026
Water supply to Masozi, Kireka and the surrounding areas has been closed off to handle an emergency fault.
Our technical team is on ground to have this repaired and restore supply.
Customers are advised to use the available water sparingly.
