Just one story I heard today—a landlord allowed a small biz owner to spend $800k outfitting her restaurant, then kicked her out bc he can now ask more for the space.

Local businesses are the heart of our city. We must pass Small Business Rent Stabilization so they can stay.

New Yorkers, tomorrow the city will experience multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms, with the strongest storms and greatest risk in the late afternoon and evening.

Now it’s time for the Mayor to get on board and implement the program properly to get it launched. We want it to start by or in the spring of 2027. We want to grow that funding to $20 million in the coming budget.
