When the World Cup comes to town, we aren’t just watching for fouls on the field — we’re tracking fouls in the workplace.
That’s why we’ve launched a historic Know Your Rights campaign, informing 20,000 workers on their labor rights under NYC Protected Time Off Law, Fair Workweek Law, and Safe Hotels Act.

At NYC Health + Hospital, we offer critical gender affirming care. When Euro Trill moved to Brooklyn, he made the decision to undergo gender-affirming surgery on the chest, also known as top surgery.
“Seeing people living their truth was a powerful experience,” he explained. “It helped me realize that I am a trans man.”
Euro was referred to the Pride Health Center at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan, where he became the 200th patient to undergo gender-affirming surgery there since the hospital began offering the service in 2017.

Few things feel more New York than a Knicks championship and the Puerto Rican Day Parade on the same day.
Today, we celebrated the culture, history, and contributions of Puerto Rican New Yorkers who shape every borough and help make this the greatest city in the world.
Thank you to the thousands of City workers who kept New York running throughout the Knicks’ Finals run as well last night after yesterday’s celebrations.
To the members of the NYPD, FDNY, EMS, DSNY, DOT, and every City worker who showed up, did their job, and helped keep New Yorkers safe: I cannot thank you enough. Whether you were responding to emergencies, staffing events, directing traffic, cleaning our streets, or working behind the scenes in ways most people never see, your dedication made this historic moment possible for millions of New Yorkers.
By the time many of us woke up this morning, the city was ready for another day because of your work. I join millions of your fellow New Yorkers in saying thank you.
Future Knicks fans get an early start at Bellevue! Our NICU team, led by Nurse Educator Audrey Steinbrecher, made Knicks hats for our babies to bring a little extra joy and creativity to families spending long days at the bedside with their newborns.

Later this afternoon and through the night we may see severe thunderstorms across New York City.
If storms hit, go inside. Stay out of heavy rain and strong winds that could down trees or power lines.
Stay vigilant for any flooding, especially if you live in a basement apartment or coastal community.
Exercise caution while traveling and use public transit where possible. Never walk or drive through floodwaters.
As always, look out for your neighbors.
Today is #WorldBloodDonorDay.
