Great job by Patrol Officer Latimer and Officer Brennan, as well as our Field Intelligence team. Following a response to domestic incident, and a brief investigation involving both units, they were able apprehend an individual and recover these firearms.

On Memorial Day, we honor the NYPD heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice protecting our country.

In March, Police Officer Sorrfly Davius died in Kuwait while serving with the National Guard.

We will never forget him and all those who gave their lives in the line of duty.

Wishing a day of peace to all who are observing Good Friday, a solemn day of remembrance and reflection.

Throughout the day, our officers have been across the city ensuring the safety of all Good Friday processions.

We recently gathered alongside family and friends at our 52 Precinct Memorial in remembrance of Sergeant Gary Franklin who tragically died of a 9/11 related illness. We will #NeverForget the ultimate sacrifice he made and dedication he had for our community.

Left turning vehicles are a leading cause of injuries and fatalities to pedestrians 🚶 🚶‍♀️ and bicyclists 🚴‍♀️ . Remember to slow down when approaching an intersection and obey the speed limit.
