Today much of the @NYTimes is empty because our members are working at home. We want to show that we can, in fact, do incredible work anywhere. We demand a fair contract with reasonable flexibility so that every member can do their best work- wherever they are working from.

We wanted to remind management that the @NYTimes is union-made – and we deserve a contract that includes our five priorities.

At our second bargaining session yesterday, @NYTimes management's actions spoke louder than words. After giving us a lecture saying we are the ones “bogging” things down, company reps wholly rejected our proposals.

Take a look at these stats. @NyTimes management doesn’t want to pay employees to have good health care but has no problem shoveling money into the pockets of shareholders.
