State Highway 6 is now CLOSED between Haast and Makarora (Haast Pass) due to flooding. No immediate detour is available. Delay travel through the area at this time.

State Highway 6 has RE-OPENED north of Greymouth. The road remains down to one lane under STOP/GO traffic management near the intersection with Holland St, Rapahoe. Expect delays through the area and follow directions given by contractors on-site.
