also why is Gaza Strip - Semenanjung Gaza? Peninsula means ‘almost an island’. does semenanjung not mean the same thing? average Malaysians probably think semenanjung means mainland or whatever. DBP you will be dealt with! Indonesians call it Jalur Gaza and it makes more sense.
