I bring you awesome news from IDH, Yaba, which is as a testament to our resolve to overcome the lethal #COVID19 pandemic ravaging the world.
Today, we discharged 7 more patients who have fully recovered and tested negative twice consecutively for #COVID19
No fewer than 60 volunteer medical personnel & support staff with expertise in Infection Prevention and Control have been deployed to the facility.
The centre commenced operations today, 8 March, 2020 with 7 patients on admission.

We have been made aware through social media that Funke Akindele recently, acting in her personal capacity, had a celebration which is against the caution to the public on social distancing during the covid-19 pandemic.

We have expanded the number of labs with the capacity to test for #COVID19 to 6 with the inclusion of the Virology Laboratory of University College Hospital, Ibadan
Tomorrow, we will be in Abakaliki to set up another lab as we quickly ramp up #COVID19 testing capacity in Nigeria
to ensure proper handling of cases as well as safety of patients and personnel within and around the vicinity.
