This video reflects on the progress we’ve made, with a gracious nod to what comes next at Natera.
It brings together different perspectives, from how the outside world sees our work, to the voices of patients and families sharing what this experience looks like in their own words. It also reflects the work happening behind the scenes across teams and disciplines.
Most of us know someone impacted by cancer, planning for a baby, or navigating life after a transplant. It’s something we think about every day, and we’re honored to support people through some of life’s most important moments.
We’re proud of the progress. Grateful for the trust patients place in us. And clear on how much more there is to do.
If you have a few minutes, it’s worth a watch.
In observance of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, Dr. Shahin Ghadir, Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility Specialist, shares what patients should know after experiencing pregnancy loss. #YouAreNotAlone@drshahinghadir

Signatera has been named one of @TIME's Best Inventions for 2026.
I keep coming back to how this started. An idea with enormous promise, and plenty of people who thought it was ahead of its time. Building something that doesn't exist means a lot of long days, hard questions, and the temptation to settle.
The @NateraGenetics team never settled. Scientists who held the line on quality in the lab. Researchers who committed to best-in-class evidence. People who kept the patient in mind with every test, because behind every result is someone waiting to hear what comes next.
One of the biggest problems in cancer care is knowing who needs additional therapy and who might safely avoid it. Signatera can help guide those challenging decisions, because it can detect disease recurrence in the blood up to two years in advance of imaging, giving patients and their doctors greater lead time.
TIME looked for originality, efficacy, ambition, and impact, and we are proud to have met this high bar. This honor belongs to the patients, clinicians, and Natera team members who made it possible.
This is a great recognition, and importantly, we know our best work remains ahead.

We’re honored to share that our Signatera™ test has been named to @TIME's Best Inventions of 2026 list. The annual list features life-changing innovations evaluated on originality, efficacy, ambition, and impact.
Signatera is a personalized, molecular residual disease (MRD) test for patients diagnosed with cancer. Built from the unique genomic signature of each patient’s tumor, Signatera detects and quantifies tiny fragments of circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) in the blood, providing ongoing monitoring for disease recurrence and response to treatment across cancer types. The test also plays an important role in oncology drug development, helping pharmaceutical companies identify patients for clinical trials and accelerate the approval of novel therapies.

Today we are shining a light on Matt Moyer. Matt is a staff biostatistician at Natera, where he designs rigorous validation studies to support our growing product portfolio. His work focuses on tests within organ health and women’s health.
For Matt, this work hits close to home. While researching Natera during the interview process in 2021, he discovered Prospera™ Kidney and thought there should be a test like this for lung transplant patients, like his mom. He then learned that the development of Prospera™ Lung was underway, and his first project became its validation. When he shared his family's story, a colleague captured the team's commitment perfectly: “We have to get this right for Matt's mom.”
@FortuneMagazine's “Future 120” list has just been released and we’re honored to be recognized. This list highlights companies across industries poised to define the next chapter of business and innovation.
Every day, our team is focused on advancing the technology and solutions to support the patients who need it most.

By combining standard sequencing with advanced long-read technology, our Zenith™ platform provides deeper insights to help reach a definitive diagnosis for patients with specific variants.
In this clip, Dr. Danny Miller of Seattle Children’s Hospital and University of Washington explains why this matters: When a DNA repeat is longer than the read itself, you can't measure how long it is. You can also miss sequence interruptions entirely — and they can be clinically important.
Long-read sequencing solves this problem because the reads are simply long enough to span the entire repeat. This means you can accurately measure the repeat length and detect those interruptions that short reads might miss.
For the many pediatric neurogenetic conditions that involve tandem repeat expansions, this makes a real difference. https://t.co/AC00YgNVVH
Our CEO, @SteveChapmanCEO, recently sat down with Jonathan Palmer, host of the podcast, Vanguards of Healthcare by Bloomberg Intelligence, for a thoughtful discussion on Natera. Steve was one of Natera’s earliest employees, when the company was much smaller and focused solely on women’s health. Since that time, Natera has branched into organ health, oncology, and rare disease, becoming a precision medicine leader. As noted in the podcast summary:
“‘Clinical data is the key to being successful in diagnostics,’ Steve Chapman, CEO of Natera, tells Bloomberg Intelligence analyst Jonathan Palmer as he explains how an early bet on evidence helped turn a small genetic-testing company into a broad diagnostics platform. Chapman traces Signatera™ from a side project into a leading minimal residual disease (MRD) test and details Natera’s nearly $1 billion R&D investment to push into genome-based testing, early cancer detection and new indications. The conversation also explores the next layer of value from Natera’s platform — millions of longitudinal data points, AI-enhanced test results and patient experiences, more efficient biopharma trials and the potential to use neoantigen prediction algorithms to support personalized cancer vaccines.”
Listen in for more. https://t.co/rd80vo0IMJ
