I just submitted my final assignment for my graduate program. I had to deal with some major setbacks as a result of the Covid pandemic, but It feels good to finally be done. I really wish my dad was alive to see this. I know he’s proud of me.

My destructive habit is I work hard for something, then when almost to the finish line I self sabotage myself. Usually procrastination, but somehow I finish the task. Been that way since I was kid. I procrastinated too long this time & its sinking in that I won’t finish this one.

Last month I stopped drinking coffee. Trying to give up caffeine. Among the great gifts I received from my coworkers & students yesterday are 3 coffee mugs, ground coffee, & a wine glass. Are they trying to tell me something?
