I can’t tell you just how profound a statement this is from the head of MI6 Blaise Metreweli.

It is VERY uncommon for the head of the UK’s foreign intelligence agency to make such a public statement. There may now be a slow shift towards considering the US as representing a threat to UK national security if aligned with Russian interests.

✴️481502 cases so far.

✴️More than DOUBLE the highest previous monthly influenza cases in September, October, November, and December this year.

✴️I’m still admitting patients with flu in December, this is unprecedented IMO,

✴️This is due to the mutant H3N2 virus (subclade K) that is sweeping the world.

✴️The US 🇺🇸 and Canada 🇨🇦, as well as much of Europe are in for the worst antigenic drift seasonal Flu in decades.

Eligibility for an NHS Covid booster has been HUGELY restricted this Autumn.

Studies show that both the acute & long-term impacts of Covid are substantially WORSE than flu on almost every measure.

So why are we offering so much LESS protection for Covid?
